Basic Rules/Policies for the season:
(Please make sure you understand these policies)
Every situation is different and will be
handled accordingly by the coaching staff and
administration when necessary.
Game transportation - players will ride
the the team bus to and from games away from the
home field.
Off field behavior - If a players find
themselves in a situation due to off-field behavior
requiring discipline, THEY need to be responsible for
their mistake and schedule a time with me (Coach) to
explain what is going on. If I hear of off-field
discipline/ misconduct from a source other than the
player themselves, it will be harder to be forgiving
whereas if they take the responsibility for their
actions I will try to respect that and find a way to
make things work for the parties involved.
Drugs/alcohol - Misbehavior involving
drugs and/or alcohol will result in IMMEDIATE and
PERMANENT removal from the team. ZERO TOLERANCE.
Coaching dissat - Issues pertaining to
player/family dissatisfaction with the coaching staff
needs to be addressed to us by the PLAYER first. I will
not discuss concerns attaining to coaching decisions
with parents until I have had an opportunity to discuss
things with the PLAYER. (They are old enough to handle
these types of concerns. In short, respect your
teammates, your coaches, the program and carry yourself
in a way you would be proud of ON and OFF the field and
we won’t have many problems.
