STEPS Auction
"Springtime in Paris"
2007 STEPS Auction Nets over $52,000
Over 200 Sammamish parents, alumni parents, friends
and guests had a great evening of community and fundraising April 21st
at Glendale Country Club. John Curley was in his usual high energy
mode entertaining all throughout the evening urging us to raise our bid
cards early and often. Our auction co-chairs Sally Vellon and Ana
Guevara did a great job pulling the troops of volunteers together over
the months of planning. Our Master of Ceremonies, Mike Stevens
worked hard striking a balance between FUN, keeping us on schedule and
making all the evening’s announcements. Everyone did a great job
and the entire evening was a great success.

2006 Auction
WOW! That Was Some Totem Pride!
The “dream” goal of $50,000 became reality April 29th when enthusiastic fans of Sammamish High School gathered to support our school at the annual S.T.E.P.S. fundraising auction. The silent auction was fun and casual with hundreds of items to bid on, great food to enjoy, a Harley Davidson motorcycle to ride and “blue” light specials as the time clock ran down on each table closing. The SHS Pep and Jazz Bands entertained throughout the evening as we enjoyed our talented SHS musicians.
When we moved to the live auction, John Curley was the life of the party. He was filled with energy and enthusiasm for our event and single handedly added nearly $10,000 to our profits while also making the most of every live auction offering.
Thank you to everyone who attended the auction and supported S.T.E.P.S. and Sammamish High School. It was a fun and profitable evening.
