Angela DeWolf is our new assistant coach this year. For the past 2
years, she was graduate assistant swimming coach for Western Illinois
University, where she assisted in coaching the women's swimming team to a
2nd place finish at The Summit League Championship meet. She also
assisted in coaching three women swimmers to qualifying marks for the USA
Swimming's Short Course Nationals meet.
A native of LaPorte, Indiana, she graduated in the spring of 2008 from the
University of Wyoming with a degree in political science while being a
member of the university honors program. During her career at Wyoming, she
was a member of the 200 freestyle relay team that set the school record.
DeWolf earned academic all-conference honors in all four years of swimming
for the Cowgirls and was team captain her junior and senior years.
After earning a master’s degree in public administration and public policy
from Western Illinois University, she moved to the Seattle, where she is
currently working as campaign manager for Ross Hunter.
