PTSA Chairpersons Needed!
If you are passionate about art, communication, recognition
or safety, then we have a position for you....
Reflections Art Program Chair:
Coordinates and encourages
Safety Committee: A parent and staff committee who work together to develop safety measures for use in our school community including emergency preparedness programs, school violence prevention and response, and disaster response.
Communication Committee Chair:
Establish areas where Communication can be improved in the Sammamish
Community. Committee
work includes notifying parents of upcoming events, communication
between school staff and parents, and communication with students
regarding community service opportunities. The ultimate goal of this
committee is to work closely with parent, staff and student
representatives to help create a system to assist in all areas of
our community.
Awards/Recognition Chair:
Create a system for recognition of staff and students who have
excelled or contributed positively to our community. A PTSA
committee coordinates the annual presentation of the Golden Acorn
Award(s) and the Outstanding Educator Award.
